Injection-molded plastic kit of the heavy fighter in 1:72 scale from Zvezda. It captures the single-seat Su-27, a Soviet and Russian aircraft for winning air superiority. The box contains parts in gray plastic, clear parts for the canopy, decals and instructions. The model makes up into a large whole with a pair of engines and a characteristically aerodynamic fuselage.
The Su-27 (NATO code Flanker) is a Soviet heavy twin-engine fighter that entered service in the middle of the 1980s. It was designed to win air superiority and was marked out by great range, heavy armament and outstanding agility. It became the basis of a whole family of derived types and still serves in a number of countries today. This kit represents the basic single-seat version.
Paint and fit the cockpit before you close up the fuselage, and pay attention to the seating of the engine nacelles and the leading edges. Join the parts with liquid cement for plastic, and glue the canopy glazing with care. We recommend an airbrush and the typical Soviet gray-blue camouflage; lay down a gloss base under the decals and pick the panels out with a thin wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
