This is a 3D printed resin detail set from IBG models, not a kit. The set contains replacement main landing gear wheels of the Supermarine Spitfire in 1:72 scale with tires of the IJ13 pattern, that is with the characteristic tread matching the period form.
It replaces the plastic wheels from the box with more faithful resin ones, on which the texture of the tire and the detail of the hub stand out better. Thanks to the accurate printing there is no parting line on the wheel and the surface is cleaner.
Separate the parts from the print supports, clean them and degrease them. Glue the wheels with cyanoacrylate. For realism the tires can be sanded down slightly where they meet the ground (a flat spot) and set apart from the hub. Paint them after degreasing, ideally over a primer.
This is a detail accessory, not an airplane model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
