Plastic kit of the Imperial TIE Fighter from the world of Star Wars in 1:72 scale. The model comes from precise Bandai tooling and carries the Revell brand. The parts are molded in color and snap together, so the model is assembled without glue and with a minimum of painting. A dynamically adjustable stand in a Death Star motif is included as well and can be linked with other stands from this range.
The TIE Fighter is the iconic single-seat fighter of the Galactic Empire, recognizable by its pair of hexagonal solar panels and by the characteristic screaming sound of its drive. In the film saga it forms the backbone of the Imperial fighter forces and stands for the industrial might of the Empire.
Thanks to the snap-fit system the build is fast and solid even for beginners. Even so we recommend cleaning up the nubs and the joints. Anyone who wants to lift the result can add panel shadows with a washable shade, bring out the cockpit details and unify the surfaces with a matte varnish. The pilot can be painted by hand.
