Injection-molded plastic kit in 1:72 scale from Arma Hobby in the Expert Set rendering. Besides the plastic sprues it also contains a photo-etched fret, self-adhesive masks for the glazing and a rich decal sheet with several marking options. The fine engraved surface and the well-worked-out cockpit make this set a rewarding model straight from the box.
The TS-11 Iskra is a Polish jet trainer that became the backbone of Polish Air Force training and served with other users as well. The bis DF version is one of the later production renderings with revised equipment. The Iskra made its name with a long service life and was also the long-standing mount of the Polish aerobatic team.
Glue the plastic parts with liquid modeling cement and attach the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. The enclosed masks make clean spraying of the canopy frames easier; apply thin coats of primer and paint with an airbrush. Before the decals, coat the areas with gloss clear so that the markings settle without silvering, and finally unify the whole model with a matte or semi-gloss clear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The photo-etched parts, masks and decals are part of this set; glue, paints and further accessories are not included in the package.
