Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Bell UH-1H Iroquois multi-purpose helicopter, nicknamed the Huey, in 1:72 scale from the Japanese company Hasegawa. The model is done in gray plastic, and the cabin holds an instrument panel and two pilot figures. Decals with marking options are included. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The UH-1 Iroquois is among the best-known helicopters in history, and its characteristic sound became a symbol of the Vietnam War. The UH-1H version was the most widespread single-engined variant, used to carry troops, to evacuate the wounded and to bring up supplies. Thanks to its reliability and versatility the Huey served with a great many armies around the world for decades.
Paint the cabin interior and the pilots before you close the fuselage up. Glue the parts with liquid modeling cement for plastic, and keep the glazing from fogging and from fingerprints. A matte olive green finish is typical of Vietnam machines, and it comes to life with the panels picked out by a wash and a light coat of dust or mud on the landing gear. Do not forget the fine rotor blades and their balance while gluing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
