An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern wheeled rocket launcher M142 HIMARS as used by the Ukrainian armed forces, in 1:72 scale from Fore Art. It is a new tool of a small but detailed model; according to the manufacturer the box allows the launcher to be built with its munitions and offers decals for current Ukrainian markings.
The M142 HIMARS is an American light wheeled rocket artillery system on a truck chassis. It carries one pod with six GMLRS guided rockets, or one longer-range ATACMS ballistic missile. It stands out for its high mobility — after firing it moves position quickly to escape counter-battery fire. The system became widely known through its use by the Ukrainian army in the defense against the Russian invasion.
Use liquid cement for plastic and separate the small parts from the sprues carefully with a sharp knife. Finish the chassis and the launcher before painting. Apply a primer and lay the paint on with an airbrush; on modern vehicles, picking out the panels, dust and mud pigments on the chassis and restrained weathering all work well. Apply the decals over a gloss surface.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
