Westland Puma HC.1 is a plastic kit of the British transport helicopter in 1:72 scale by Airfix.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Westland Puma HC.1 medium transport helicopter. The model has a well-worked fuselage and main rotor and the package holds decals for several color schemes. It is an approachable project in the popular 1:72 scale.
The Puma HC.1 came out of British-French cooperation and reached the Royal Air Force at the beginning of the 1970s. It served to carry troops and materiel and to support ground operations, and it could lift about a dozen fully equipped soldiers or a load on an external sling. It stayed in RAF service for decades.
Assemble and finish the cabin and the interior first and only then close up the fuselage. Mask the cabin glazing and glue it carefully with clear adhesive so that it does not fog. Use thin plastic cement, treat the surface with a primer and lay the shades down with an airbrush; finish the rotor blades and fit them at the very end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
