363 Dark Green/Dunkelgrün - RAL 6020

Revell 363 Dark Green - RAL 6020 (Aqua Color, 18 ml)

A modeling paint in the shade 363 Dark Green to the RAL 6020 standard. This is a paint, not a kit or a model. Its classification as an acrylic puts it in the Aqua Color range - that is an acrylic, water-thinnable paint in a pot with a volume of 18 ml. Aqua Color has no aggressive organic solvents, has little odor, is thinned with water or with Aqua Color Mix thinner, and tools are washed with water afterwards. The finish of shade 363 is satin - at Revell the numbering indicates the degree of gloss, and the 3xx series is satin.

Do not confuse the series

Revell carries two paint ranges with the same shade numbers. Alongside the acrylic Aqua Color there is also the Email Color enamel range (synthetic enamel, 14 ml), which is thinned with solvent-based Revell Color Mix rather than water. The shade 363 Dark Green - RAL 6020 is therefore found in both ranges. This paint is the acrylic one (Aqua); if you need the enamel, look for the enamel version. The two chemistries do not mix and are thinned differently.

Use

• The dark green RAL 6020 - widely usable for military vehicles, gear and camouflage schemes.
• Applied with a brush as well as an airbrush; thinned with water or with Aqua Color Mix thinner (by about 20 to 25 percent at most).
• Two thin coats are recommended instead of one heavy one - the acrylic covers better that way and does not flood engraved detail.
• Stir it well before use; the satin finish can be adjusted with a matte or gloss varnish as needed.
• Clean brushes and tools with water right after work.

Who the paint is for

For modelers who prefer a solvent-free acrylic - especially when working in an apartment, where the odor and flammability of enamel are a nuisance. Suitable for models of military vehicles, aircraft and for dioramas.
