A Vallejo sand primer under the manufacturer's part number 73.644. It unifies a model's surface before painting and gives a light ground under desert shades straight away.
Responsibility details are not available.
A primer is the first coat that lies on a model. It unifies a surface made up of different materials, gives the opaque paint something to hold on to and at the same time gives away what is underneath: scratches, unsanded joints and the marks of glue stand out precisely after priming, that is, at the moment when they can still be put right. Without it the paint holds considerably worse on a smooth surface and rubs off when a finished model is handled.
This primer is sand colored, that is, light and warm. That has a practical consequence: light opaque shades above it do not have to overcome a dark ground and will make do with fewer coats, so the relief stays sharp. On desert and sandy camouflage schemes it can serve straight away as the underlying tone on which the further work is done.
A container of primer as described is supplied. A model, paints, thinner and tools are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. Work in a well-ventilated room and store the container carefully closed and out of the reach of children.
