730 Clear Orange

Revell Aqua Color 730 Clear Orange

Clear Orange is a water-thinnable acrylic clear shade from the Aqua Color range in an 18 ml pot, which dries to a glossy, transparent film. It serves for tinting, that is for coloring a base orange while keeping it transparent.

What it is and what it is not

• It IS a transparent tinting paint for light covers, turn signals, position lamps and transparent effects.
• It IS NOT an opaque orange paint: applied over a light base it will not hide it, only color it.
• The resulting depth is governed by the number of coats; a darker shade comes from more applications.

Use

• It is thinned with water; for an airbrush add roughly 20 to 25 percent thinner.
• It shows best on a smooth base, ideally a silver or light gloss one.
• It is applied with a brush and with an airbrush; brushes are washed in water as long as the paint has not dried.

Who it is for

For modelers who need realistic transparent light covers and colored transparent areas without having to use solvents.

Keep out of the reach of children, ventilate the room when airbrushing and protect yourself against inhaling atomized paint.
