Vallejo Acrylic Satin Spray Varnish is a water-based (acrylic) protective varnish in an aerosol can, with a semi-gloss, satin finish. It is applied as a final coat on a finished, painted model or figure and forms a tough, transparent film that protects the paint from abrasion and handling. The satin gloss level is a balanced compromise between a gloss and a matte varnish: the surface is neither mirror-glossy nor fully matte, which looks most natural on many models and figures. The varnish does not yellow and is durable once dry.

Use

• Spray in thin coats from a distance of about 20 to 30 cm, letting each coat dry.
• Apply only over completely dry paint and finished weathering.
• Use as a unifying final varnish to even out different gloss levels between paints.
• Shake the can thoroughly and work in a well-ventilated area.
