The Vallejo Innovator airbrush is a gravity-feed double-action gun in a light alloy, with the cup on top and the paint fed from above. The set contains two needle and nozzle systems, 0.2 mm and 0.3 mm, so the gun can be adapted to fine and to ordinary work, and a 9 ml cup with a quick coupling for the hose. It is neither paint nor a model but a tool for applying paint.

Use

• Double-action trigger: pressing controls the air, pulling back meters the paint - smooth transitions and fine lines.
• Use the 0.2 mm nozzle for detail, fine shading and transitions; the 0.3 mm for broad coverage and base coats.
• Always thin the paint to an airbrush consistency - thick brush paint has to be thinned or it will clog the nozzle.
• Flush the gun after every session with the thinner appropriate to the paint used; keep the seals and the needle clean.
• The gun needs a source of compressed air (a compressor), which is not included in the package.
