While spraying, a gun is disconnected more often than one would expect: to change to another nozzle, to clean it, for a different paint. A screwed joint has to be loosened and tightened again every time, the thread wears and the seal gradually stops holding. A quick adapter shortens that step to one movement. The gun is pushed into the collar, which locks it, and disconnecting happens by pressing or pulling back a ring. The compressed air meanwhile stays in the hose, so the compressor does not have to be switched off.
It suits anyone who sprays regularly and above all anyone who uses several guns or disconnects them often between colors. It is worth checking the thread size on your own hose and gun, because thread dimensions differ between airbrush makers.
Work at a reasonable pressure and always check the joint before spraying. Keep out of reach of children. An airbrush and a hose are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
