Aluminium

Vallejo Aluminium

A metallic paint from the Vallejo Metal Color range in a natural aluminum shade. It is a special self-leveling metallic developed for the airbrush, which gives a realistic metallic sheen with a fine pigment. The paint is ready to spray and goes on even through nozzles from 0.2 mm without any need for thinning; if you do need to thin it, only the special Vallejo thinner for this range is used, never water.

Use

• You get the best sheen over a smooth gloss black base (the Vallejo gloss black primer, for instance).
• It is sprayed straight from the bottle, or thinned with the special Vallejo thinner, not with water.
• The pigment settles to the bottom, so mix the paint thoroughly before use and during work.
• Metallics are harder to overspray and to mask, so apply them as one of the last coats.

Who it is for

For modelers who spray realistic metal surfaces: natural metal on aircraft, exhausts, engines and details.

Mix well before use and during work, and work in a ventilated space.
