B510 Mr. Surfacer Gray 500 is a gray filler primer (surfacer) with a coarser 500 grit from Gunze, used to fill defects and prepare the surface before painting.

Gray filler primer (surfacer) Mr. Surfacer 500 from Gunze. It is an opaque undercoat compound with a coarser grit (the number 500 means the coarser grade) that fills larger scratches, grooves, seams and surface imperfections left after sanding and reworking parts; at the same time it evens out the surface and serves as a primer before painting. The gray shade shows up flaws well before the final coat. The lower the number, the coarser the grit, so 500 is coarser than the finer 1000 or 1500 grades.
Suitable for modelers who prepare the surface of a model before painting and need a coarser grit to fill more pronounced defects and seams. It is a good choice for plastic kits, Gunpla and for conversions and reworked parts.
Safety: this is a lacquer-based surfacer thinned with lacquer thinner and it is flammable. Use it in a well ventilated space away from open flame; a respirator and respiratory protection while sanding are recommended. Keep out of the reach of children.
