Black Mud

Vallejo Black Mud (Thick Mud)

A thick water-based acrylic texture paste in a 200 ml package. It is a relief paste, not a paint for spraying. It creates a dark, almost black shade of dried, oily mud of the kind that clings to vehicles in soaked and dirty terrain. It serves to imitate deposits on the running gear, the lower parts of the hull, the wheels and the tracks.

Use

• Apply it with a spatula, a brush or an old tool directly onto the model.
• Ideal for tracks, wheels and the lower parts of vehicles and for deep mud deposits.
• Combine it with pigments, gloss effects and washes for the look of wet mud.
• It dries into a matte to slightly glossy relief; a thicker layer takes longer to dry.
• Wash the paste and the tools with water while the paste is still wet.

Intended for diorama builders and armor modelers who want deep dark, dirty mud effects on the running gear. Suitable for beginners as well.

A water-based product. Store it closed and out of the reach of children; close the container well after use so the paste does not dry out.
