An elastic modeling rigging line in black, Medium thickness, 45 m (145 ft) long from Infini-Model. It is not a kit or an accessory for one particular model but a universal consumable for rigging and bracing. The material is elastic, so once it has been tensioned and glued it stays straight and taut, it does not slacken and it does not sag. It is used to represent the rigging of ships and also bracing wires, antennas and the bracing between the wings of biplanes and other aircraft.
Measure the line with a small allowance, tension it slightly and glue the ends with super glue (cyanoacrylate) into the prepared anchor points or holes. Cut off the excess once it has set. Thanks to the elasticity you can glue one end, stretch the line and then glue the second end so that it ends up perfectly straight. The black line can be over-colored if needed.
This is a consumable, not a model. Use super glue for bonding; it is not included in the package.
