Vallejo Brown Mud, mud texture paste

A thick water-thinnable Vallejo acrylic paste from the diorama effects range in a brown mud shade. It serves to create realistic muddy surfaces, ruts, buildup on running gear and earthy surfaces on dioramas and vignettes. The paste is solvent-free and non-flammable, contains pigments and microparticles and is applied with a brush or a spatula.

Use

  • It is applied with a brush or a spatula directly onto the diorama base or onto running gear.
  • Static grass and small growth can be pressed into the wet paste.
  • Once dry, the surface can be painted over with acrylics, enamels and oils and picked out with pigments.
  • The consistency can be adjusted with a small amount of water.

For modelers and diorama builders who want to render muddy terrain and grimy running gear quickly and realistically.
