A brush from the Pro Modeler line by the Spanish brand Vallejo. Its round shape, natural-hair bundle and size 1 make it a versatile tool for detail: it holds a good reserve of paint while still coming to a fine point. The handle is black lacquered with a colored end cap, so you can tell the line apart from others in a cup.

Care of the brush

Load paint onto only the first third of the hair. If you push it all the way to the metal ferrule, the bundle will splay out and the tip will never come to a proper point again. After use, wash the brush in lukewarm water, blot the remaining moisture with a paper towel and reshape the tip with your fingers. Do not let it stand bristle-down in a cup, and do not store it wet in a closed case.
