About product

Gunze Color Modulation Set German Gray

A set of lacquer paints of the Mr.Color line for the color modulation technique in the German tank gray (German Gray) scheme. The graded shades make it possible to create an impression of light and depth on a model: the set contains the base gray and the matching highlights and shadow. These are not water-thinnable acrylics but solvent-based lacquers.

Use

  • Thin with the lacquer thinner of the Mr.Color line, NOT with water.
  • With an airbrush, apply the shadow into the recesses first, then the base gray and finally the highlights on the edges and upper surfaces.
  • Suitable for German armor of the early part of the war.
  • Intended for work with an airbrush and controlled thinning.

Who it is for

For modelers of German tanks and vehicles who want to master the modulation of tank gray with a ready-made graded palette.

Flammable. Work in a well-ventilated area with respiratory protection; keep away from open flame.

FAQ

No. The set is made of lacquer paints of the Mr.Color line and is thinned with lacquer thinner, not with water.

For modulating German tank gray, that is for grading the shade to give an impression of light and shadow.

With an airbrush in layers: the shadow into the recesses, the base on the surfaces, the highlights on the edges.

Above all for German tanks and armored vehicles of the early part of the war.
