Color Modulation Set Olive Drab

Gunze Mr.Color Color Modulation Set - Olive Drab

This is a set of four modeling paints of the lacquer type from the Mr.Color range, intended for the color modulation technique on vehicles in olive drab. The set holds the base shade and, alongside it, graded tones for highlights and shadow, with which spraying can bring out the relief and the shapes of the model. All the paints are matte, cover well and dry to a hard, smooth surface. The binder is a lacquer solvent, so they are thinned neither with water nor with enamel thinner, but solely with Mr.Color lacquer thinner, ideally of the Leveling type.

Use

• Spray the base shade first, then lighten the upper and lit surfaces with the lighter tones and darken the recesses with the shadow shade.
• They are applied with an airbrush; thin the paints with Mr.Color lacquer thinner or Leveling Thinner.
• Fast drying allows smooth layering and soft transitions between tones.
• The matte surface is an ideal base for washes, filters and pigments afterwards.

Who it is for

For modelers of armored and military vehicles in olive drab who want to master color modulation without mixing shades by hand.

Lacquers are flammable and smell strongly of solvent, so work with good ventilation, use a respirator and protect your skin and eyes.
