Vallejo Dark Slate Grey

A dark slate gray water-based acrylic wash from the well-proven Vallejo range. It is a thin, translucent paint that runs on its own into recesses, engraved lines and around raised detail, where it leaves neutral shadows once dry. A dark gray is softer and less contrasty than pure black, so it looks natural on metal, stone and lighter surfaces alike.

Use

• Applied with a brush straight from the bottle; the wash finds the detail by itself.
• Brings out recesses and engraving on figures, vehicles and accessories.
• Suits metal, stone, concrete and gray or light surfaces, where black would be too harsh.
• Can be thinned with water and layered for a softer or a stronger effect.
