Desert Sand is a water-thinnable acrylic texture paste in a 200 ml package, intended for modeling sandy, desert and dusty terrain in dioramas. It creates a finely grained surface in a sand shade on which further weathering follows. It is neither an opaque paint nor a kit, but a terrain modeling medium from the group of diorama effects.
Apply the paste onto a firm base and shape it while it is still damp; let thicker layers dry through thoroughly. Once dry, bring the terrain to life with lighter and darker filters, washes and pigments and add stones or dry vegetation. Clean the tools with water before it dries.
