A primer, that is a base coat, not an opaque paint. A light sand tone has one practical advantage over a gray or black primer: it does not knock the brightness out of the colors above it. Yellow, sand and light brown shades always lose saturation on a dark base and have to be sprayed over again and again; on a light primer they settle after the first or second thin coat. The bottle holds 60 ml.
For modelers of desert and sandy schemes, where a light base saves coats and keeps the shade fresh, and for figure painters and diorama builders who need a neutrally light base under toning. It also serves well as an underlayer for chipping, where the top color is deliberately broken through and the sand tone beneath it stands for a worn finish. It serves equally well on parts that are to stay light - canvas tarpaulins, wooden crates or parts of an interior.
A water-based acrylic product. Spray in a ventilated space with respiratory protection. Clean the tools immediately after the work, as cured primer can only be removed mechanically. Store closed and protect from frost.
