Desert yellow matte primer spray from Titans Hobby

A matte base coat in a pressurized can of four hundred milliliters, intended for plastic, metal and resin. The desert yellow shade is meant for vehicles in sandy finishes and serves both as an undercoat and as a base color on which weathering can be built straight away. The primer evens out a surface made up of different materials, shows up unfinished joints that you can still fix after it has been applied, and above all gives the next coat of paint something to hold on to. The manufacturer describes it as acrylic and states that acrylic, enamel and lacquer paint can all be applied over it, by brush and by airbrush.

How to spray it

Shake the can thoroughly before use and let both the model and the can come up to room temperature, because a cold surface and a cold can make for a grainy coat. Spray from a distance of roughly fifteen to twenty centimeters and in thin coats. According to the manufacturer the surface is dry to the touch in about fifteen minutes and fully dry in about three quarters of an hour. Two thin coats are better than one heavy one, which would drown the engraved lines.

This is a pressurized can with flammable contents. Spray outdoors or in a well-ventilated space, away from naked flame and sources of sparks, and protect your airways. Do not expose the can to temperatures above fifty degrees, do not pierce it or throw it into a fire, and store it out of the reach of children.
