The Aber photo-etched perforated plate 0.6 mm is a brass sheet with regular 0.6 mm holes for making perforated panels and anti-slip surfaces on models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a universal photo-etched accessory, not a kit. Aber, the Polish maker of photo-etched parts, supplies a thin brass sheet with regularly spaced round holes of 0.6 mm diameter. Unlike a mesh, this is a solid plate with a drilled (etched) pattern of holes.
A perforated plate is used wherever the real subject has sheet metal with regular holes: perforated panels, covers, anti-slip surfaces, filter plates, instrument ventilation grilles and interior accessories. The fine 0.6 mm holes give a dense, fine pattern. The material is thin, holds its shape and is easy to cut to size.
Cut the part out with sharp photo-etch shears or break it off the sheet, and degrease the area beforehand. Glue the plate with super glue (cyanoacrylate) or with a two-part adhesive; apply a metal primer before painting, so that the paint holds well.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and other materials are not included in the package.
