Green Stuff World dual-action airbrush 0.2 mm

An airbrush from the Green Stuff World brand. It is a dual-action design: pressing the trigger opens the air and pulling it back meters the paint, so you have full control over the amount of paint being laid down while spraying. The nozzle 0.2 millimeters in diameter is the finest of the sizes offered and is aimed at detail work. The finer the nozzle, the closer the gun can be brought to the surface without the paint running or dispersing outside the area.

Use

• for fine blends, shading and highlighting on figures and models
• for narrow masked lines and small areas
• for thin, well stirred paints, because thick paint will clog the nozzle
• for low-pressure work, where a coarser nozzle sprays too much paint
• for painting figures, where the work goes in layers and with a small amount of paint

Who it is for

A gun with a 0.2 millimeter nozzle is a tool for detail, not for large areas. For the base coat of a fuselage or a hull a coarser nozzle is more suitable, because a fine one clogs easily with a large volume of paint. If you have only one gun and build large models, consider a heavier design. For figure painters and modelers who work in thin layers, on the other hand, this size is the right choice.

Always thin the paint to the consistency of milk and, once the work is done, take the gun apart and rinse it, otherwise dried paint will gum up the nozzle. Use protection of the airways and spray in a well ventilated space or in an extracted booth.
