The front part of a modular paint stand with room for 52 smaller bottles, eight large containers and 22 brushes.
Responsibility details are not available.
A modeler's bench grows along with a collection of paints, and this system is built for exactly that. The individual parts line up beside each other according to how much room is available, and this one forms its front section. On its own it takes 52 bottles of 17 ml, with eight larger containers of 35 or 60 ml and twenty-two brushes.
The assembled part measures 34 cm across, 22.3 cm deep and 11 cm high, so it will fit even on a narrower worktop or on a shelf above it. The joints are made with interlocking tabs, the parts fit together without glue and they can be taken apart again the same way when the arrangement is changed.
The greatest loss of time in painting is usually not the application itself but the searching. Bottles standing in rows facing the modeler can be read at a glance, and brushes in separate openings have no chance of rolling about in leftover paint. The slope of the shelves also keeps the labels in view, so nothing has to be lifted to choose a shade.
Because it is the front part of the arrangement, it is meant to stand closest to hand, with the other parts lined up behind it or at its sides. Its low height matches that and does not block the view of work in progress. Anyone working on a bench against a wall will appreciate that the depth does not exceed twenty-three centimeters and that room is left for a cutting mat and a knife.
