A modeling marker from the weathering range. The paint is ready right in the tip, and it is applied with no airbrush and no mixing.

A marker is the quickest route to paint on a small area. There is no setting up of a gun, no thinning and no washing of a brush; you simply take the cap off and draw. The item belongs among the markers for finishing and grimy effects, that is among the means applied to a model on top of a finished coat to give it a worn look. It comes into its own on edges, on small covers and anywhere a tone is to separate two neighboring areas from each other.
Before the first use, prepare the marker according to the instructions on the packaging; with writing implements of this kind it is usually shaken and the tip is pressed against a surface several times so that the paint comes right to the point. Apply it in short strokes in one direction and lay the second coat down only once the first has dried, otherwise the tip will pull the first coat off again. Before you run the marker over a painted area, try the compatibility of the two coats on a hidden place on the model, for example on the underside of a part. Deal with thinner, cleaning and any clear coat according to the manufacturer's instructions for this line. Press the cap firmly home after work; the tip dries out faster than you would expect and a point that has once dried cannot be put right.
The model, other paints and thinner are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
