GT65K - a spare blade for shallow engraving, 0.20 mm, for the Mr. Line Chisel GT-65 scriber from Gunze (Mr. Hobby). A different type of edge from the ordinary blades - it makes only a shallow, fine line. The handle is needed.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a spare blade for the Mr. Line Chisel GT-65 scriber from Gunze (Mr. Hobby); you have to have the scriber (the handle) itself. Note - it is not an ordinary blade. It is the type for shallow engraving: the edge has a more finely shaped profile than the standard blades of the same width, so instead of a deep narrow groove it creates a shallow, fine line.
An ordinary blade deepens a sharp, fairly deep groove. A shallow blade is for finer work: where you do not want a prominent joint but only a suggestion - discreet surface lines, fine structures and scales, and the restoration of shallow details that should not read as coarse. It is engraved the same way: by pulling toward you along a template, in light repeated strokes; the shallow geometry is forgiving and does not bite into the depth so easily.
For modelers who want fine, discreet lines and suggestions of detail without deep grooves. Anyone who needs prominent deep joints will reach for the ordinary (deep) blades in the range, 0.10 to 1.20 mm.
The blade is sharp - engrave away from your fingers, use a template and store out of the reach of children.
