GX106 Clear Orange is the clear orange shade of the Mr.Color GX range. It does not cover the surface underneath, it only colors it through, so the resulting tone always arises in combination with the layer below. The GX range belongs to Mr.Color, so it thins with the thinner intended for that range, and the thinning ratio is given in the instructions from the manufacturer on the packaging.
Amber orange has several standing jobs in modeling:
Stir the paint before work, as the pigment settles in the bottle even in clear shades. On small lights it pays to lay the paint over a silver base so that the light shows through the clear coat. Spray in thin coats and let the surface dry between them; depth can be added at any time, but not taken away. The base must be smooth and glossy, as a matte surface makes a clear coat go cloudy. It thins with the thinner of the Mr.Color range, not with water. The thinner of this range is more aggressive than that of water-thinnable paints, so test the combination with a paint of another brand on an offcut of plastic.
The package contains a single bottle of paint. Thinner, brushes, an airbrush and the model are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
