H099 Fluorescent Pink

Gunze H099 Fluorescent Pink (Aqueous Hobby Color, 10 ml)

A water-thinnable acrylic paint from the Aqueous Hobby Color range of the maker Gunze (Mr.Hobby). It is a fluorescent pink — an unusual, conspicuous shade that suits custom projects, anime and Gundam figures as well as garish racing machines. Fluorescent pigment reflects more light than ordinary paint, so the surface glows in daylight as well as under UV light. A volume of 10 ml.

Use

• It is thinned with water or with acrylic Aqueous thinner — not with lacquer thinner. The tools are washed with water before it dries.
• Brush: 1 to 2 thin coats without thinning; airbrush: 2 to 3 coats after thinning.
• The key piece of advice: fluorescent paints have weak covering power and are translucent. On a dark or colored base the glow is lost — apply them onto a white base, ideally a white surfacer.
• Fluorescent pigment fades in light over time — for a longer life we recommend a clear coat with UV protection.
• Custom paintwork, anime and Gundam energy features, racing cars and motorcycles, striking accessories.

Who it is for

• Builders of anime, Gundam and science fiction models, for unusual glowing accents.
• Modelers of custom and racing machines with bold colors.
• Anyone looking for a conspicuous neon pink outside the ordinary palette.

A water-thinnable acrylic — even so, work in a ventilated room and keep it out of the reach of children.
