Helper for soldering is a soldering flux in a 20 ml bottle, meant for soldering photo-etched and metal parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
A flux for soldering, supplied in a bottle with a volume of twenty milliliters. Flux is what decides the outcome of soldering: it removes a thin layer of oxides from the surface of the metal and lowers the surface tension, so that the solder flows along the joint instead of sitting on it in a bead. Without it, photo-etch often simply will not solder, even when the temperature is right.
Apply the flux only at the joint, in the smallest possible amount, ideally with a stick or a thin brush. After soldering, always rinse the remaining flux off with water and dry the part, or the surface may corrode in time and paint will not hold on it. Work on a non-flammable surface and with a well-heated iron, because long heating distorts a part more than a brief touch. Close the bottle carefully after use.
It pays to practice soldering on offcuts of photo-etch before you touch the real part.
The flux can irritate the skin and eyes. Work in a well-ventilated space, do not breathe in the fumes and keep it out of the reach of children.
