HMS-08 30 Minutes Sisters Smooth Clear Coat is not a shade but a colorless final overcoat with which a finished figure is sealed.

The only item in the HMS range that names no color. Clear Coat is a clear overcoat: it goes on over finished work and its job is to unify and protect the surface, not to color anything. The qualifier Smooth in the name refers to the character of the resulting surface.
A figure from the 30MS range gets handled a great deal: the joint parts are repositioned, the head comes off, the hands are swapped. Unprotected paint wears away from exactly these places, first on the edges. The second reason is the look: painted areas, molded plastic and the decals of the face parts all have the same surface once overcoated, so the figure stops looking like something glued together from several materials. Before applying it, it pays to get the grease of your fingers off the surface; a print left under the clear layer can no longer be removed.
For anyone who has painted a 30MS figure and wants it to last through ordinary repositioning. Anyone looking for a color will not find one here; the bottle holds a colorless overcoat and it will not change the color of the model.
