Sky Blue is a light blue with a calm rather than a garish tone. The shade comes from a range in which the colors are mixed directly to the markings of individual named machines, so there is no need to hit the mixing ratio by trial and the shade will be the same in a second bottle bought a year later. The qualifier in the name refers precisely to the machine the shade is listed under.
The finish is semi-gloss, that is, somewhere between flat and full gloss. On the model that has a practical consequence: a semi-gloss surface does not look like plastic, but neither does it mute the shapes the way a flat finish does, so edges and transitions stay readable on rounded areas. Semi-gloss is also kinder to fingers, it wipes clean more easily and picks up less grease than a flat coat. If you need a smoother surface under decals, clear coat the spot beneath them with a gloss varnish and then level the sheen with a final coat.
Stir the bottle thoroughly, because in semi-gloss paints it is not only the pigment that settles at the bottom but also the component that sets the sheen; unstirred paint then dries unevenly. Lay it down in thin coats over a degreased and dust-free surface and let the paint become tacky between coats. A light blue covers poorly over dark plastic, so it pays to even the surface out with a primer first. Thinning, the spraying pressure and the cleaning of the tools all follow the manufacturer's instructions on the packaging.
