The AFV Club KV-I Street Monster is an entertaining plastic kit of a cartoon egg-style KV-1 tank with an exaggerated, endearing hull.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit from the series of endearing cartoon egg models by AFV Club. The KV-I Street Monster is a humorous, deliberately distorted rendering of the Soviet KV-1 heavy tank, with a big squat hull and short, egg-like proportions. It is not a scale model but a stylized toy made for fun, which even a beginner can manage to build.
The loose subject is the Soviet KV-1 heavy tank of the Second World War, named after Kliment Voroshilov. It was marked by heavy armor, which made it a feared opponent in the early part of the war. The egg version makes friendly fun of the tank and exaggerates its typical features into an endearing shape.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and clean up the seams by sanding. Thanks to the smaller number of parts the model is quick to build and is ideal for trying out painting and simple weathering without the risk of spoiling an expensive scale kit.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
