About product

Vallejo Light Slate Grey - pigment

This is a loose, very finely milled pigment in a light gray shade, intended for weathering and aging surfaces. The pigments are made from natural and synthetic colorants with good lightfastness and mix with one another easily.

Use

  • It is applied dry with a brush straight onto the model for effects of light dust, ash and a faded surface.
  • It can be fixed with a suitable thinner or a fixative for a more lasting bond.
  • It combines well with other pigments for creating transitions and shades.
  • The light gray tone suits concrete surfaces, dust and weathered paintwork.

Who it is for

It will be appreciated by modelers of military vehicles, dioramas and figures who want to age the surface of a model realistically.

This is a fine powder; do not inhale it and work in a ventilated area, out of the reach of children.

FAQ

It is a loose pigment in powder form, not a liquid paint. It is applied dry or fixed with a thinner.

Applied dry it holds mechanically; for a lasting bond fix it with a suitable thinner or a pigment fixative.

It serves for light dust, ash, concrete surfaces and weathered paintwork.
