A gloss aluminum metallic paint from the Tamiya range of lacquer paints in a 10 ml bottle. Despite the occasional confusion with the acrylics, it is a lacquer that is thinned with lacquer thinner. The metallic pigment creates a pronounced gloss aluminum look.

Use

• it is thinned with lacquer thinner, not with water
• stir it carefully before use and during work, as the metallic pigment settles to the bottom
• it looks best over a smooth, gloss base
• apply a metallic paint as one of the last coats, as it masks and oversprays less well
