The M2 Bradley is an American tracked infantry fighting vehicle. It carries an infantry squad and at the same time carries its own rotating turret with an automatic cannon and a launcher for anti-tank guided missiles, so it is not a mere carrier but a machine that can fight its own way through. The M2A3 form is a later modernization in which the vehicle received improved equipment for observation and fire control.
The second volume of the series called in detail, devoted precisely to the M2A3 Bradley. The series concentrates on the details of a particular machine, that is on what a general view from the outside does not capture: the layout of the fighting compartment, the mounting of the add-on armor panels, the stowage of equipment on the hull, the routing of the wiring and the state of the surface after use.
It is most useful at the moment when a build reaches the details that a kit handles in a simplified way. With a reference like this it is possible to decide which parts are worth adding, where which boxes and tarpaulins belong and how far to go with the wear. It is also useful to anyone who is not building the model and simply wants an idea of what the vehicle looks like close up.
