Voyager Model Mesh 4X4 Square A (0.25 mm)

A versatile photo-etched metal mesh from Voyager Model with a regular square grid and an aperture size of about 0.25 mm. It is not a model and not a kit but a detailing material: a thin metal sheet from which you cut the shape you need. It is used to replace coarse plastic grilles on models, for instance on cooling openings, fans, engine covers or exhaust grilles.

Use

• Measure the mesh and cut it to the size and shape required
• Shape it lightly over an edge or a template as needed
• Bond it with super glue in place on the model
• Degrease the mesh before painting and apply a primer for better adhesion

Who the material is for

The mesh will be appreciated by modelers of vehicles, aircraft and ships who want to replace thick plastic detail with a fine metal grille. Suitable for more advanced builders used to working with etched parts.
