Milliput Black

Milliput Black - a two-part epoxy putty (black)

Milliput Black is a two-part, cold-curing epoxy putty in black from Milliput. It does not shrink and suits modeling work such as shaping, filling seams and gaps, repairs and the sculpting of details. It is supplied in two sticks that are mixed in equal parts, a ratio of 1:1, before use. The black shade comes into play above all where the putty is to stay dark, on coal or dark materials for instance, or to suggest shadows.

Use

• Cut an equal amount from both sticks and knead them until a uniform black mass without streaks is formed (a ratio of 1:1)
• Wetting your fingers and the tools with water makes shaping and smoothing the surface easier
• The mass stays workable for roughly tens of minutes and cures fully within a few hours
• Once cured, the putty can be sanded, drilled, cut, filed and painted over
• It holds on plastic, metal, wood, resin and other materials

Uncured putty can irritate the skin, so work in nitrile gloves, avoid contact with the skin and eyes and wash your hands after the work. Sand with respiratory protection and keep everything out of the reach of children.
