A set of eight acrylic paints from the German brand Revell, aimed at modern airliners. The selection builds on the tones you meet most often on civil machines: white fuselage finish, an aluminum shade for uncovered surfaces, gray and the blue and yellow tones matching the liveries of the big carriers. From one box you thus cover the base finish as well as the striking features of the tail surfaces. The manufacturer states the paints as ready for applying with a brush and for filling into an airbrush.

Use

• Shake the bottle thoroughly before use; pigment settled at the bottom will distort the shade.
• Apply the white in several thin coats over a light base, otherwise the plastic shows through.
• Spray the aluminum surfaces onto a smooth base; every scratch stands out on a metal shade.
• Create the sharp color divisions on the fuselage with a mask, not freehand.
• Leave the surface glossy under the decals; on a matte surface the edges of decals silver.

Who the set is for

It is aimed at builders of civil airliners, that is at an area where the palette of shades differs from military camouflage and is harder to assemble piece by piece. It will serve well those who build models in smaller scales too and need above all a reliably opaque white and a metal tone. On airliners the largest part of the work lies precisely in a clean base finish, onto which the decals with the carrier's markings only then go.

Keep the paints out of the reach of children, ventilate while working and close the bottles well after use.
