A foursome of acrylics from the ATOM line for the vehicles of the present-day French army. The shades match standardized FS codes and cover the three-tone European camouflage as well as the desert variant.

The package contains Matt Black to FS37038, Green Base to FS34082, Gelbbraun 8020 corresponding to FS33481 and Earth Brown to FS30117. Three of them make up the classic trio of green, brown and black that French ground vehicles wear in a central European setting. The light yellow-brown tone then takes care of machines deployed in dry regions.
A designation to the federal standard is the only way to verify a color independently of a trade name. A modeler can therefore compare the shade with a reference swatch fan or match it with the paints of another brand without having to rely on the photograph on the label. On vehicles with sharp transitions between the fields this is essential, because a tone that does not agree gives improvisation away at once.
The boundaries between the individual fields on these vehicles are sprayed slowly, at slightly lower pressure, so that the edge stays soft. It is a good idea to start with green as an overall base, add the brown and leave the black until last, because it takes up the smallest share of the surface. The package is one of the smallest themed sets in this family of paints.
The foursome can be extended with separate bottles of the same line if you are building a machine with unusual features, for example prominent numbers or different wheels. On its own it will cover the surfaces of the hull, the turret and the running gear, but for small accessories and the inside of the crew compartment you will have to reach for further tones. What is left of the contents will last for several more builds.
