Gunze Mr. Mahogany Surfacer 1000 (170 ml)

A filler primer in a spray can from Gunze, supplied in a 170 ml aerosol can. It is not a kit but a surfacer with a grade of 1000, applied before the final paint. The mahogany, dark brown shade makes a strong colored base on which the paint then gains depth. Its fine filler closes small scratches and sanding marks and unifies a surface made up of plastic, filler and accessory materials.

Use

• Shake the can thoroughly for at least a minute before use.
• Spray from about 15 to 25 cm in several thin coats.
• Let it dry; sand any unevenness with fine wet-and-dry paper.
• The mahogany shade can be used as a dark base for show-through and shading under the final paint.
• Apply the covering paint once it is dry.

For modelers who want to prepare a perfectly smooth and unified surface and at the same time use a colored base for depth in the final finish. Suitable for plastic models, military subjects and figures.
