Gunze Mr. Procon WA DA Airbrush 0.3 mm is an airbrush with a dual-action trigger and a 0.3 mm nozzle for modeling paintwork.
Responsibility details are not available.
An airbrush for applying modeling paints in thin coats. The DA designation means a dual-action trigger: pressing down opens the air supply, pulling back gradually adds paint. The modeler therefore regulates the amount of paint continuously while spraying, which is the precondition for soft transitions, panel shading and fine freehand camouflage patterns. A 0.3 mm nozzle is the universal choice for modeling and handles both overall coats on a fuselage and finer work; extremely fine lines are the domain of narrower nozzles, while very thick paints pass better through a wider one.
For modelers moving from a brush to an airbrush, and also for those looking for a second airbrush to keep work in progress going. A dual-action trigger gives more control than a single-action one, but it calls for a little practice. To spray you need a source of compressed air and a hose, which are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
Always thin the paint with a thinner matching its chemistry; acrylic, enamel and lacquer are not thinned with one another. Rinse the airbrush after every session, otherwise the paint will dry in the nozzle. Spray in a ventilated space and wear a respirator.
