A modeling airbrush from the Mr. Procon range with a 0.3 mm nozzle and trigger control. The universal nozzle diameter handles overall coats as well as finer shading.

An airbrush from the Mr. Procon range serves to apply modeling paints by spraying. The 0.3 mm nozzle diameter is among the most universal of all: it is enough for a continuous coat on a fuselage or a truck bed and at the same time it allows a considerably narrower line when shading panels, blending soft camouflage transitions or emphasizing edges.
The tool is not operated by a button from above but by a lever in the manner of a trigger, which opens the supply of air and paint. The hand holds the airbrush in a natural position, tires less during longer work and the dosing can be guided smoothly. The 0.3 mm nozzle diameter is at the same time a sensible compromise for a modeler who has one airbrush for every kind of work.
To work you need a source of compressed air at a steady pressure, ideally with a regulator and a water trap. Thin the paint according to the paint manufacturer's instructions on the packaging: paint that is too thick clogs the nozzle, paint that is too thin runs down the surface. Rinse the airbrush with a thinner intended for the paint range used after every session. Clean the needle and the nozzle calmly and without force, because they are the most delicate parts of the whole tool, and never tighten the nozzle hard.
Paints, thinners and the source of compressed air are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
