Evangelion Test Type-01 Ver. 1.5 Multi-Colour Edition is a plastic kit of a figure from the Meng range in the multicolored form.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a plastic kit from the science-fiction range of the maker Meng. The subject is the Evangelion Test Type-01, that is a humanoid combat machine from the well-known Japanese animated series — in the modeling range it belongs to the world of science-fiction figures, not to scale kits of real hardware. The Ver. 1.5 designation refers to the form of the mold, and the Multi-Colour Edition epithet means that the parts are molded in several colors of plastic.
The multicolored form is the main practical advantage: the basic color division of the figure comes about from the plastic itself, so the model makes sense even without being painted and is a good entry into the category of science-fiction mech models. Anyone who wants to go further, by contrast, has a well-prepared base for extra work. Check the exact number of parts, the height of the finished model and the contents of the package on the box. The manufacturer does not give a scale for this range.
Cut the parts out with nippers a little way from the part and level the remains of the sprue gate with a file or a sanding sponge, so that no white burr is left on the colored plastic. Anyone who wants to paint the model should first degrease the plastic and spray it with primer. Even without painting, a panel wash into the engraved lines and a final matte or semi-gloss varnish, which unifies the surface and takes the shine off the plastic, do a great deal. Do not glue the movable joints, otherwise you lose the ability to set the model into a pose.
The model is supplied unassembled. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
