The NATO black shade in a 400 ml spray can. According to the manufacturer it holds on plastic, metal and resin and serves as a camouflage shade as well as a dark base.
Responsibility details are not available.
NATO Black is the black component of the three-color camouflage of the military equipment of NATO armies. In the scheme it forms the narrow stripes that break the shape of the vehicle up and divide it visually. It is not a deep tar black but a muted dark shade, which on a model looks more natural than a pure black from a bottle.
A 400 ml can covers even a larger model with no airbrush to set up. According to the manufacturer it holds on plastic, metal and resin, so you can spray a kit, accessories and metal parts with it. Besides the camouflage stripes it suits a dark color base under metallic shades and under dark coats, on which lightening the edges then works well.
Wash and degrease the surface first; paint will not hold on greasy plastic. Shake the can thoroughly, for at least a minute. Spray with a smooth movement from a distance of roughly twenty to twenty-five centimeters and build the paint up in several thin coats; a heavy coat runs and floods the relief. Dark shades also show up every irregularity, so add an extra coat rather than one thick one. Work at room temperature and in a well-ventilated area. When you have finished spraying, turn the can upside down and press briefly until clean gas comes out.
For the modeler of military subjects who paints large areas, and for anyone looking for a quick dark base. The package contains one 400 ml can; the model, masking material and other shades are not included, unless stated otherwise.
