Lead wire 0.3 mm in diameter from the Czech maker Plusmodel is a modeling material, not a kit. Lead is a very soft and perfectly malleable metal: you bend the wire into any shape with your fingers or tweezers and it stays that way - it does not spring back like copper or steel. That is exactly why modelers reach for it wherever a run has to look as though it hangs freely, sags and follows the shape of the part.
0.3 mm is the heavier variant compared with 0.2 mm. It therefore suits coarser runs - thicker hoses, cable bundles, more prominent services - and larger scales, where the thinnest wire would disappear visually. In smaller scales you use it where a run is meant to be clearly visible. The wire cuts easily with ordinary side cutters, so there is no need to reach for your photo-etch shears; it is bonded with super glue or epoxy and takes paint without trouble - just degrease it and spray it with primer, and then both acrylic and enamel will hold.
For modelers who want to push the detail beyond the contents of the box - military vehicles, aircraft, cars and dioramas. Working with it is simple and forgiving: if a bend does not come out right, you just straighten the wire and try again. Even a beginner adding wiring to an engine for the first time will appreciate it.
A modeling material, not a kit. Caution - lead is toxic. Wash your hands thoroughly after every handling. Do not put the wire in your mouth, do not bite it, do not sand or cut it in a way that creates dust, and do not heat it. Do not eat or drink while working. Keep out of the reach of children.
