Agama Weathering Wash WS 06 rust

A weathering wash from the Czech manufacturer Agama in the WS range, solvent-based (thinned with mineral spirits). This ready-to-use liquid weathering product in a rust shade is used to imitate corrosion, rust streaks and worn metal surfaces. It comes into its own on exhaust systems, unprotected sheet metal, running gear and anywhere else the metal is to look aged and attacked by rust.

Use

• Apply over a dry matte or semi-matte varnish.
• Apply it in spots where the corrosion is to be and draw the streaks downward with a fine brush.
• Once it has flashed off, reduce the surplus with a cloth or a cotton swab moistened with mineral spirits.
• Build the rusted areas up in layers and combine them with other shades for a natural look.
